The concierge nursing service provided by Coulter’s Hands offers access to registered nurses and nursing assistants to support clients in their end-of-life needs. However, the services provided by our nurses and nursing assistants are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare physician. All information, assessments, and recommendations provided by our staff are intended for general information purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making end-of-life decisions. Always seek the advice of your primary hospice provider with any questions you may have regarding end-of-life care. Never disregard the care/education/physician orders from your primary hospice provider, or delay in notifying the primary hospice provider because of something you have been told by a member of our concierge nursing service. In the event of a medical emergency, please contact the primary hospice provider for assistance. Coulter’s Hands does not provide emergency medical services. By using our concierge nursing services, you acknowledge and agree that Coulter’s Hands, its employees, and agents are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the information provided by our nurses or nursing assistants. Your use of the service is at your own risk, and Coulter’s Hands shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of our services. Scope of Services: While our nursing staff and nursing assistants are trained and qualified, they do not perform any medical procedures that require the intervention of a licensed physician or advanced practice provider, unless specified by a physician’s order and within the scope of practice.

Emergency Situations: In the event of a medical emergency, our staff will advocate for patients and family and notify the primary hospice provider immediately. If patient should “code” and is a FULL CODE, CPR will be performed per families wishes. Coulter’s Hands do not make any warranties, express or implied, regarding the outcome of the services provided. Each patient’s response to care can vary based on individual circumstances.
